The Music Box Theater is one of the most historic venues in the country opening way back in October of 1926. The Music Box, or Fonda Theater as it is commonly known, has a seating capacity of 1,200 and has been restored as recently as 2002. The Music Box Theater box office is located at 6126 Hollywood Boulevard in downtown Hollywood, California. The theater was closed completely in 1977 after 32 years of showing movies before being opened back up in 1985 and renamed the Fonda Theatre after the famous actor Henry Fonda.
